Who We Are

Crisis Text Line is the idea of several people at DoSomething.org. Watch this TED talk to see where the idea came from.

We have a small yet mighty Board of Directors in addition to an Advisory Board made up of the leading mental health experts in the crisis space, and a Youth Advisory Board.

We are an independent subsidiary of DoSomething.org. (This means we have separate funding, staff, incorporation, etc. but we’re under the fiscal sponsorship of DoSomething.org. Think of us as really friendly half siblings.)
