Bruno Borges is the Vice President of Philanthropy at Crisis Text Line, where he leads corporate partnerships and global expansion efforts. He brings over two decades of experience in philanthropy, social entrepreneurship, and nonprofit leadership. His career reflects a deep commitment to social impact, innovation, and systems change on a global scale.

Before joining Crisis Text Line, Bruno founded and led Good Ask (2023-2025), a global social enterprise transforming nonprofit fundraising through gamified giving campaigns. Previously, he served as Vice President of Philanthropy at The Miami Foundation (2022–2023), where he led Give Miami Day, raising $32 million to support more than 1,000 nonprofits. From 2019 to 2022, Bruno was CEO of TECHO-US and Chief Development Officer for TECHO-International, a nonprofit focused on housing and community-driven solutions across 18 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean. While at TECHO, he launched The Empathy Pact, a global movement that raised over $1.6 million to support more than 1 million people in Latin America living in poverty and impacted by COVID-19.

Bruno also served as Chief Purpose Officer at Galapagos (2017–2019), where he developed purpose-driven campaigns to raise awareness and funds for leading social entrepreneurs. Prior to that, he spent a decade as Global Director at Ashoka (2007–2017), leading global networks and strategic partnerships to scale the impact of over 4,000 social entrepreneurs in more than 90 countries.

Earlier in his career, he worked at Johns Hopkins University (2005–2007) as Coordinator of the Outside Interests Division and spent seven years working as a corporate attorney (1998–2004). 

Bruno holds a Masters in Organization Development from Johns Hopkins University – Carey Business School, and certificates in nonprofit management from Johns Hopkins University and from Harvard Business School.
