Less than 10% of total income is spent on overhead (2016). This ensures that donations are spent directly on programs--making sure we maximize efforts reaching texters.
In 2016, we conducted more than 400,000 conversations with texters in crisis. On cash costs, this equates to $26 per texter. We need your support to reach users in need of our service -- we’re estimating Crisis Text Line will conduct a whopping 875,000 conversations in 2017.
