Welcome to the Family: Crisis Text Line Joins The National Hotline Consortium
If there’s one thing we’ve learned in our six years helping people in crisis, it’s that we’re better when we work together. This month, we were invited to collaborate with hotlines leading the way in victim services, joining the ranks of the National Hotline Consortium.
So, why are we all here? To make each other better. To set a standard of how we help other humans. To model and innovate best practices together—for the world. Launched in 2015, the National Hotline Consortium brings all the game-changers together to provide high-quality support for victims.
And, we’ll be in the best company. Consortium members include ChildHelp, National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, The National Domestic Violence Hotline, National Runaway Safeline, RAINN, Polaris, and the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline.
Innovation is at the core of our work. Around here, we like to say that we’re a tech company that does mental health work. This means that we are in a constant state of learning and growth—always self-reflective and always eager to learn with others. To us, being a member of this Consortium means making a commitment to continue to iterate and improve our service, learn from other organizations, and share our learnings with others. The goal? In a moment of crisis, you always have the best support services available. All of us—together. Let’s get to work.
