Together, We Can Make a Greater Impact within our Communities.
We believe that transforming the mental health landscape requires more than partnership; it demands the activation of people, platforms, and purpose towards the mission of advancing mental health access, equity, and innovation. Alongside over 100 nonprofit organizations we partner with, our goal is to help bring our vital resource into all communities.

“We’ve seen overwhelming evidence for the need for immediate, crisis-response support for local youth. We are excited to support Crisis Text Line and partner with organizations and agencies that support youth to create an awareness campaign for this new mental health resource.”
–Lorez Meinhold, Caring for Denver Foundation’s Executive Director
Why Partner with Us #

In 2025, Crisis Text Line supported more than 34,000 conversations through community partnerships.
We collaborate with partners in a few ways: co-branded text keywords (like “Text ORGANIZATION to 741741“), shared best practices and customizable assets to promote the service, and social media, PR, and media efforts tailored to each partner.
Partners also receive high-level, anonymized data on their community’s mental health trends, including conversation topics, peak days and times, and texter demographics.
Partner Impact Stories #
Our community partners demonstrate what’s possible when organizations come together with a shared commitment to improving mental health. Every story below reflects the power of collaboration and the many ways partnerships help expand access to support, strengthen communities, and advance mental health equity.
Together, we’re creating meaningful, measurable change.
In partnership with The Defensive Line, an organization dedicated to ending the epidemic of youth suicide, especially among young people of color, Crisis Text Line joined forces with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) and the Faith Fight Finish Foundation during Suicide Prevention Month in September 2023.
Together, the partnership helped raise awareness around mental health and suicide prevention through a major PR effort, including featuring 741741 on NFL cleats to connect more people to free, confidential mental health support when they need it most.
We partner with the National Alliance for Eating Disorders to provide the co-branded keyword ALLIANCE, which connects their community to free, 24/7 mental health support via text. Beyond the keyword, this organization's leaders serve as a trusted subject matter expert on eating disorders for our organization, lending their expertise to guide the tip sheets and resources we provide to texters reaching out about these issues.
We’ve also teamed up on social media posts for Eating Disorder Awareness Month, amplifying our shared message and reaching even more people who need support. This partnership strengthens both the quality of care we offer and our collective impact for people who struggle with disordered eating.
Our partnership with Live Free 999 centers on the keyword LF999, which helps us reach and support Black men and BIPOC communities seeking mental health support, and has grown to include co-collaboration on media opportunities and social media posts that extend our shared message.
Together, we've supported 20,000 texters through this partnership, and we are now expanding our work to broaden access to mental health support for youth across the Chicagoland area, including leading an event at Juice WRLD's alma mater, Homewood-Flossmoor High School, alongside
Live Free 999.
Through our partnership with Caring for Denver, Crisis Text Line launched the keyword “DENVER” to 741741 to connect Denver youth with free, confidential mental health support, 24/7. Together with local organizations and a marketing agency, we helped spread awareness of the resource across the community, reaching young people who may not have otherwise known support was available.
Since launching, the partnership has supported more than 1,700 conversations with people in crisis and notably, 92% of those who reached out were texting Crisis Text Line for the very first time.
How to Get Involved #
Ensure Access to Lifesaving Support
Partnership at Crisis Text Line is more than collaboration. It’s a commitment to lead in the movement for community well-being. When you join, you’re not just raising awareness for mental health, you’re reshaping what’s possible for those within your communities who reach out in their darkest moments.

Keyword and Trends Partnerships #
Give your community a direct line to support, branded as your own.
We’ll create a co-branded text keyword, like “Text ORGANIZATION to 741741,” so your community can reach a trained volunteer Crisis Counselor 24/7 in both English and Spanish. It’s an easy way to extend your existing services with a free, confidential mental health resource. Once your keyword reaches 200 conversations, you’ll gain access to a personalized dashboard with anonymized, aggregated insights on conversation topics, volume trends, and demographics, helping you better understand the people you serve and identify where support is needed most.
Research and Insights #
What do people in crisis need from their communities?
Mental health solutions backed by near real-time insights. Partner with our research team to understand how your community can use Crisis Text Line as a resource. We cross-walk insights with publicly available datasets to surface areas for investment and advocacy. Our team works with you to identify the insights most useful for your goals. These projects can vary in depth or complexity and we will work with you to determine scope.

Volunteer & Mental Health Support Training #
Build your community’s capacity to show up for one another.
We train volunteer Crisis Counselors in active listening and crisis response, skills they carry with them well beyond the platform. Partnering with us is also a way to grow your own community’s mental health literacy and support network.
These are just a few starting points. If you have another idea for how we could work together, we’d love to hear it.
